A WELCOME FOR THE AGES

JOYCE’S BAR & GROCERY BORRIS

Joyce’s Bar & Grocery is a true taste of old Ireland in a modern world. Step through our doors, and you’ll enjoy the same sort of welcome that generations have had since we first opened in 1923.

Current owners John and Mary are the third generation of the Joyce family to run the premises. They have preserved the business tradition, and look forward to continuing to provide a great pub experience for many years to come.

GOOD TIMES IN GOOD COMPANY

CEOL AGUS CRAIC

Ceol agus craic means music and “craic”, that unique Irish experience of good conversation and good fun in good company. You’ll find both at Joyce’s, where the craic is always mighty, with occasional sing-songs and music sessions featuring the best of local talent. Visitors are welcome to join in too!
